Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data RUDISN (“Qweek Site”, “we”) collects, why, and the choices you have. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
The short version
- We collect what we need to run Qweek Site: your name, WhatsApp number, listings and how people view them.
- Your data is stored in India (Mumbai). We never sell it.
- Marketing messages and analytics cookies only happen with your permission.
- You can see, correct, export or delete your data any time.
1.Who this covers
This policy applies to:
- Customers: brokers, agents and teams who create a Qweek Site account. For your data, we are the Data Fiduciary.
- Visitors: people who open a listing page, brochure or website shared by a customer, or who visit our website. For listing activity, the customer who shared the listing decides how it is used, and we act on their behalf as a Data Processor. See section 5.
2.What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name and WhatsApp number, and later optional details such as business name, RERA number and email.
- Content you send: property details, photos, documents, voice notes and messages you forward to Qweek Site on WhatsApp or upload in the dashboard.
- Support conversations and feedback.
Payment information
When you buy listing credits, our payment partner (such as Razorpay) collects your card, UPI or bank details directly. We receive only what we need for billing: the transaction reference, status, amount, payment method type and the last four digits of a card. We never store full card numbers, CVVs or UPI PINs.
Information collected automatically
- Listing activity: when someone opens a listing, which photos and sections they view, how long they stay, whether they come back, and when they tap to call or message.
- Device and log data: IP address, approximate location derived from it (city level), browser, device type, and the pages and times of visits.
- Cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy.
3.How we use it
- To create and secure your account, including verifying your number with one-time codes.
- To turn your messages into listings, host them, and show you who engaged with them.
- To send you service messages on WhatsApp, such as listing links, lead alerts, security notices and payment receipts.
- To take payments and keep payment records.
- To answer support requests and fix problems.
- To prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and to keep Qweek Site secure.
- To understand how Qweek Site is used and improve it, using aggregated data and, on our website, analytics cookies only if you allow them.
- To send product tips and offers, only if you opt in. You can opt out any time by replying “STOP” or changing your settings.
- To meet our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We may use automated systems, including AI models from third-party providers, to read your messages and draft listings. These providers process your content only to deliver the result to us and may not use it to train their own models.
4.Why we're allowed to
We process your personal data with your consent, which you give when you create an account and when you opt in to optional features like marketing messages or analytics, and for legitimate uses permitted by section 7 of the DPDP Act, such as complying with law (for example, tax records) and handling information you voluntarily give us for a specific purpose. You can withdraw consent any time; this doesn't affect processing that already happened, but we may no longer be able to provide the service.
5.Your clients' data
When a customer shares a listing and someone engages with it, we collect that visitor's activity, and any contact details they share, for that customer. The customer decides how it is used and is responsible for informing their clients and having a lawful basis to contact them.
On a listing page, this is what the customer can see:
- A random visitor ID kept in your browser's storage, so repeat visits to that customer's listings are linked. It is shown to them as a short code, such as K7X2, which is also added to the WhatsApp message when you tap WhatsApp on the page, so they know which listing you saw.
- What you did on the page: views, time on the page, photos, videos and sections viewed, documents and directions opened, and taps to call, message or share.
- Your approximate city and the type of phone (for example “Pune, iPhone”), and how you arrived (for example a shared link). We don't store your IP address and don't try to identify you from your device.
- Your name or number only if the customer adds them, for example after you message them.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, visits are counted but not linked to a visitor ID and no code is added to your messages. Clearing your browser's site data removes the ID. A customer's visitor data is shown only to that customer. Visitors who haven't been named and haven't come back for 90 days are deleted automatically, and customers can delete a visitor at any time.
We use this data only to provide Qweek Site to that customer, keep the service secure, and produce aggregated statistics that don't identify anyone. If you're a visitor and want to access or delete your data, contact the broker who sent you the listing. If you can't reach them, write to us and we'll help.
6.Brokers' websites
Customers can publish their own website on Qweek Site, at an address like name.qweeksite.com.
If you're a customer
- Nothing is published until you choose to. When you publish, we record when you did. Your website shows your name and WhatsApp number, what you add to it (business name, logo, banner, tagline, about text, areas served, years in business, RERA registration number, email, office address, map link, social links, client testimonials and awards) and your live listings, except any you switch off. Drafts are never shown.
- Testimonials you add include your client's name and words. You need their permission to publish them, and you decide what they show (a first name and area is enough). If a client asks, remove it; clients can also ask us, and we'll take it down.
- Anyone with the link can see it, and search engines may list it. Add only details you're happy to make public. For example, leave the office address empty if you work from home.
- You can edit, hide or delete it at any time from your dashboard. Deleting it removes the page, your logo, banner and profile straight away. Search engines and apps that already copied it may take time to update, and we don't control their copies.
- If you change your address or delete your website, the old address stops working straight away and becomes free for anyone to use. We don't keep a record of it or link it to your account.
If you visit a broker's website
- We count visits and taps on WhatsApp, Call, Share and listings as daily totals for that broker. These totals contain no personal data: no visitor ID, IP address, device details or location are stored.
- Your browser keeps a
qweek:site-visitentry until you close the tab, so a reload isn't counted twice. The website sets no other cookies and loads no analytics or advertising tags. - If you open a listing from the website, that listing's page works as described in section 5, and the broker can see you arrived from their website. If you tap WhatsApp or Call, you contact the broker directly, and they handle that conversation as their own.
- The Directions link opens Google Maps, under Google's own terms, only if you tap it.
Collections
- Customers can also share a collection: a named group of their listings, at an address like qweeksite.com/c/name. It shows the collection's name and note, the customer's name and WhatsApp number (and their website's name and logo, if they have one), and only listings that are live. A customer can also show their collections as filters on their website.
- Collection pages ask search engines not to list them. Deleting a collection removes its page straight away.
- Visits and taps on listings, WhatsApp and Call are counted the same way as on websites: daily totals with no personal data. Your browser keeps a
qweek:collection-visitentry until you close the tab, so a reload isn't counted twice. If you open a listing from a collection, the broker can see you arrived from a collection.
8.Where it's stored and how long
Our main database is in India (Mumbai). Some providers, such as Meta for WhatsApp or AI processors, may process data outside India. We only use transfers permitted under the DPDP Act and choose providers with strong safeguards.
We keep data only as long as we need it:
- Account data, listings and your website: while your account is active.
- After you delete your account: removed from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.
- Invoices and payment records: for the period required by tax and company law (currently up to 8 years).
- Security logs: up to 180 days, or longer when needed to investigate an incident.
9.How we protect it
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, row-level access controls so each account can only reach its own data, verified sign-in, least-privilege staff access and regular reviews, in line with reasonable security practices under the IT Act. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we'll notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
10.Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to erase it, unless we must keep it by law;
- withdraw consent you've given, as easily as you gave it;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated;
- have your grievances addressed by our Grievance Officer.
Most of this you can do from your dashboard. Otherwise, email hello@qweeksite.com from the number or email on your account. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
11.Children
Qweek Site is for professionals aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
12.Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy as Qweek Site and the law change. For material changes, we'll tell you on WhatsApp, by email or in the dashboard before they take effect, and ask for fresh consent where the law requires.
